About Me
I have been collecting tattoos since I was 20. My first tattoos were from the same shop my brothers visited in Seabrook, New Hampshire, since tattooing wasn’t legal in Massachusetts yet. Like many people, my first few tattoos were walk-ins until I discovered the importance of artist portfolios and realized that different artists specialize in different styles.
About ten years into collecting tattoos, I began researching every artist before getting tattooed. Since then, I’ve collected more than 30 tattoos from artists across different states, at conventions, and even in other countries while traveling.
Over the years, countless people have asked me for recommendations simply by seeing my tattoos. At the same time, I’ve seen too many people end up with tattoos they regret because they didn’t know how to find the right artist.
I realized I could use my knowledge of the tattoo community, my passion for research, and my experience as a collector to help others find the perfect artist for their ideas. That’s how INKtroductions was born—guiding people to their perfect tattoo artist.
